Goodbye to the XTERRA

So my family knows the story of dannys car from our first date. But here's the story, just to add to this sad picture of danny saying goodbye to his car. So my family knows that one of my favorite cars is an Xterra. So Danny comes to pick me up on our first date, and my family is all there at home. My mom was looking out the window waiting for him to come. Heather was helping me pick out my outfit, and get ready. So I am downstairs in my room and I hear my mom run across the wood floor and tell me, "He is driving a blue xterra!! It's a sign! Thats your favorite car!" And then heather told me what he was wearing, and that he looked really excited. So danny turned in the car.. But the story is funny and we wont ever forget it! Goodbye to the xterra, hello to learning how to deal with only one car!

Double Date

These are our friends Mitch and Kris. They moved in our ward a while ago and we have become great friends. They're actually moving soon which is sooo sad but we promised to keep in touch. We went to nickel cade, I had never been there, and it was fun to play games and use our tickets to give danny some reeses candy. But it was fun to watch the people who were "regulars" playing dance revolution. I probably watched them for like a half hour...  

Park City New Years Eve

We went up to park city for New Years Eve with danny's group of friends. We had food at his friend Jake Rogers condo, and then walked around on main street to celebrate the new year! 

This is my friend liz and I. We have become such good friends. We hang out with her and her husband mitch a lot which is always so fun. 

Hair Stuff

This is my friend Hilary and she is my out of state client! She lives in L.A. and when she comes in town she always has me do her hair which I love! We did her blonde last year, and around christmas she wanted to go dark, and do straight across fringe.

Much needed update

               I am going to give an update since it has been a while since I have. First of all danny and I are both doing really well. Just getting ready to celebrate our 2 year anniversary! WAHOO! I still love him tons. He is so sweet. He surprised me with lunch on monday at work. And ate it with me in the laundry room cuz there is no where else to sit! He is really busy with school, work, and wardball every tuesday night. He is getting closer to graduating which is great. We are hoping it will be next spring. We look forward to summer, and spending time in the warm weather! Especially boating, our favorite.
              The holidays passed, and I haven't even got around to posting pictures or anything! January is just one of those months that is hard to get motivated, and I definately don't think this weather is helping! I am at work and just looked on the weather channel website and it's supposed to be snowy/rainy until not this weekend but the next. I need things to keep my spirits up when I feel like summer is never going to be here!! Here are some things I am excited about: first of all st. george!! I cannot wait to spend time with my favorite people in the world! We are going to have a blast! Danny and I are still trying to figure out when we will be able to be there. But, that is definately the main thing that is motivating me now.
            Next, my tv shows. American Idol, the bachelor, and heroes. They are those things that you just can sit and watch and next thing you know its a couple hours later and 2 in the morning. Ok so maybe its not the best choice when I have to be leaving my house at 8:10am. But its fun for danny and I to do those things a few times a week.
           Next thing is cleaning my house, organizing, and buying new things to go in our place. I cannot believe that we've almost lived there two years!! In april it will be two years. I am starting to get sick of our drapes, leopard bathroom.. and the fact that we both can hardly fit on our couch when were watching tv and movies. We always dream about having a "L" couch. Some day we will. I know the cleaning thing is wierd to be excited about, but hey I really am! I love waking up in the morning, making the bed, and leaving for work, but the best part is coming home to a clean house. Sorry danny if I drive you crazy about the house being a certain way, or reorganizing things. But I love it. I have been thinking of getting a new kitchen table lately. I want a small square one to put in our kitchen and I want to paint it to match our black theme that we've got going. Now that I know how to spray paint thanks to ang and my mom. Ang I wish you were here to help me redecorate everything. Any ideas on my house? Help me find a table when your in town. Or at least ideas of where to get one thats cheap. Also bathroom ideas? I cannot wait to see you! Only a couple more weeks! Love you all-danny and nattles
