Beautiful Bride

This is my friend Kelsi! I did her hair for her bridals today at Memory Grove. We couldn't have had better weather, it was perfect! She looked beautiful, and I enjoyed being there to help out with touch ups. Congrats on your big wedding day!

ITS JUNE!!

Its finally June! I absolutely love summer, and am glad its getting warmer. Although I am a little sad now that danny is in school two nights a week,  and I work one night a week, I miss him a lot. So basically friday is our only day alone. So here I am all alone at home, 7 p.m. at night. I found that the only way I can entertain myself on these lonely nights is to make a treat (tonight was carmelitas), play super mario brothers, blog stalk(sometimes people I don't even know, I admit it), go to shop-n-go (chocolate is my favorite flavor), look up hairstyles and hair colors and techniques, catch up on all my tv shows on hulu, but since I have seemed to do all of those already I guess I'll give you a little update.

Something I have always wanted to do regularly is running. As I watch my amazing sistas run in marathons and half marathons I decided to give running a try. I started running more this year than I have in my life, and I absolutely love it. I go up to sugar house park and run a couple days a week on my days off. So this leads into a story. So the other day I was running at the park and I kept passing this cute blonde girl. So after the second or third passing, she was like hey wanna run together? So we did and we started talking. She asked me what I  do for work, and I said hairstylist. She was like no way! I'm actually looking for a stylist to start doing my hair. What a coincidence. So we ran up to my car and I gave her a business card, and she is coming over next week to get her hair done. I need these moments in my life that give me huge motivation to get out there and let people know who I am, and that I LOVE doing hair more than anything.

Speaking of motivation... Dannys dad Dan Clark came to speak to my salon Brick House Retreat in sandy at our staff meeting a few weeks ago. He did absolutely amazing which isn't surprising because he is a great speaker. He talked about passion, and having passion in our careers. I think this is something we lose sight of. He talked about team work, motivating each other to stay positive, and communication.
He shared inspirational stories, and personal experiences. Everyone loved him, and I am so happy we got to have him speak for us. Thanks dan for being amazing!

Memorial weekend- Danny and I went up to bear lake with the clark clan. We had tons of fun, and I even took two naps while we were there.. his family probably thought I was really lazy.. We enjoyed going to studebakers pizza, and kings for their cheap but super comfy sweats. We slept in, and I went running with dannys cousin chris's wife jamie. ( are you confused) hah I'll just call her my cousin jamie.
Thanks dan and kelly for a fun weekend, we look forward to many more memories up there!

I am doing my friend kelsies hair for her bridals this saturday! I got her some beautiful extensions, and I absolutely love extensions. I only do clip ins, and once I tell you how amazing they are, you would never want to do any other type of extensions. They are the best thing since sliced bread!!! I also love styling for weddings, proms, and anything formal. I cannot wait to see her as a beautiful bride and I'll post some pictures of her hair!

Well thats it for now!
