So lately we have been really into cooking. Dannys grandma Ruby Clark is an AMAZING cook, and has many famous recipes that we thought would be fun to make. Potato salad, carmel cookies, lemon bars, and a sloppy joe recipe. Those are the ones we've made so far. We took some of the food up to Ruby's house and she said she approves! We had fun visiting her and Debbie (her daughter that lives there too) and we talked all about her famous and delicious food. I know this sounds weird, but I really think that food makes memories. We will always remember Ruby for these amazing creations, and when we make them, we will start more memories too. Also, when you make something yourself, you realize how long it takes to make, and you appreciate it a lot more. I think we spent three hours making the potato salad!! So we will just keep practicing and hopefully be able to share with all of you! I think its a really fun experience to cook with danny also. He is so nice, and is really good at cleaning up all the dishes. Thanks danny!!
I don't know what else is new with us, except how I absolutely love my job!! "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. Thats how I feel! I love being able to make a difference in peoples lives, and knowing that I can help out is the greatest reward! I am so happy with the choice I made back in 2007, on September 11th to start at Paul Mitchell.
We are going to be all alone tomorrow(sunday) because mom and dad are still in hawaii, and dannys parents are leaving in the morning to go out of town. We are going to miss our two meals at each house, and are most likely just going to catch up on our sleep! I woke up at five thirty am this morning to leave the house at seven, and am anxious to get to bed. We will update later this week! (Nick, I hope you didn't fall asleep this time) We love you all!!!

Thanks for the update! It's so fun to try new recipes~ we would love to hear your favorites! Miss you~
Love to read about what's up in SLC while I'm in the aloha state of Hawaii. Dad's golfing and it's too early for the beach, so I'm blog surfing. Ruby had a catering business and everyone knew about her famous cooking. Keep learning from her - your cooking skills will always be appreciated. You really excel in all the homemaking arts, Nattles!
